DIRECTOR’S NOTE

I’m drawn to stories that live in the space between what is said and what is felt.

With Second Helping, I wanted to explore the emotional residue we carry — the patterns we inherit, repeat, and sometimes struggle to break.

The film is intentionally intimate in scale, allowing performance and nuance to drive the storytelling. My goal is to create something that feels both deeply personal and universally recognizable — a quiet moment of reckoning that lingers beyond the frame.
